Tarot Card Dingbats
Project: Design a set of 6 to 10 dingbats with a cohesive theme.
While I could have made at most 6 to 10 icons, I instead chose to make all 22 of the Tarot Deck’s Major Arcana. After finalizing the symbols, I went on to design a card base to truly bring the deck of cards to life.
When I find the time in the future I would love to also create the Minor Arcana which would bring the total card count up to 78.

Typographic Poster
Project: Using typography, create a poster commemorating an event of my choosing.
My celebration of choice was the 30th Anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece Dragon Ball.
After several ambitious iterations, I found myself working on the final piece you see right here. There are several variants of this poster, which you can see if you click on the poster above.
Event Logo
An event logo redesign for Color Vibe 5K 2016. Initially a black and white logo with a burst of color behind it, I chose to make 6 individual variants. Each color is inspired by the colors thrown during the run itself.
Celebratory Stamp
Project: Create a stamp commemorating a celebrity or event of my choosing.
The stamp had to use no more than ten colors (and white) and had to be vectorized. My stamp celebrates Audrey Hepburn and her successful career/humanitarian experiences.

Vector Tracing
Vector Tracing is the process by which a rasterized image is translated into vectors. This is best used on logos and type as it allows the work to be resized without pixelating.
It can also be used to create stylized pieces of art as detailed or as simple as the designer wishes.
